Hopefully they'll work it out- I'd like to go back.Garden State residents are spoiled for choice when it comes to amazing food and drink. the steaks at Rails are just as good, the ambiance is wonderful, the service is below the rest. I eat at the steakhouses in a 20 mile radius: Roots (both locations), Ruth's Chris, The Strip House, etc. For the price you are paying, I believe the servers should be your best friend for 90 minutes you are there. ![]() Overall, the service could use some work. ![]() Bartenders were not attentive, hostess stand was blase, waitstaff was okay. Shrimp cocktail was generous and classic, don't mess with the classics. The flat breads were a bit dry and lacked some finishing touches that would put them above average. The food is good, steakhouse fare with some other options. It was very thoughtfully designed with creativity and so much attention to the details. There is so much to see, all the different rooms, the speakeasy, the patio. PS: It is starting to provide entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays and it's a great place for happy hour or late night fare. Be sure to inquire about the unique architecture which utilized downed trees from the site. We enjoyed both with a bottle from their extensive wine list.For dessert, Key Lime Pie and NY Cheesecake.Our server, Michelle was very cordial and attentive.(She even rescued our olive oil from the busboy who took it from the table) Overall, I highly recommend Rails Steakhouse for the food and the ambiance, though it can be a bit noisy when crowded, but not excessively. Our entrees were the Lobster Seafood Skillet.and the Cowboy (20 oz) steak with mashed potatoes. (Leftovers?) My guest and I started with the Tuna Tartare and homemade Mozzarella plate. I was disappointed to learn the specials were exactly the same offerings as Saturday. My visit yesterday, was in the Library Room. We thoroughly, enjoyed the specials Bronzini over Couscous and T-bone steak. There was entertainment, too! Our dinner was in the Mosaic Room, named for the wooden floor tiles. Enjoyed cocktails in the Speakeasy lounge, once we found the "secret" button to open the door. Had an opportunity to visit this unique restaurant again. Dine al fresco on the outdoor Trackside or Vista Terraces offering spectacular views of the Pyramid Mountains. Descend to our lower level and find the secret passage that takes you to our Wine Cave, and Thirty 3, a dimly lit speakeasy-style bar, with leather banquettes, semiprivate lounge areas, & handcrafted cocktails. While all levels feature the same menu, the main dining room has a more sophisticated ambiance, Rafters on the second floor has a more casual lodge appeal. restaurant where sprawling timber meets natural stonewalls, accents of glass showcase fire-&-water features in this luxe lodge.
